FAR AFIELD LINEN SELLECK SHIRT

 About the Look:


 The second you try on these fatigue pants from Universal Works you will know why this style of pant has been popular since 1950’s. These pants fit wide through the thigh and knee and then have a strong taper at the ankle, giving them a modern look, while still maintaining classic styling. The pants are cropped at the ankle too, making them perfect to wear uncuffed or even cuffed. All you need is the perfect pair of sneakers to rock with these pants and you’re all set. Here we chose to style the pants with a pair of SeaVees. This pair in particular is the Baja Slip-On and its constructed of a lightweight linen that will insure that you stay cool on those hot summer days. As far as tops go, this linen shirt from Far Afield was a no-brainer. It’s pattern gives it a lively summer vibe and the washed linen gives this shirt an incredibly soft and breathable feel.

 About the look:
Finally, a pair of chinos that aren't to skinny and not too baggy! The Aston Pant  from Universal Works will hands down be your go-to for everything from days in the office to date night. The fit is semi-slim and the leg can be hemmed to accommodate different leg lengths (or you can just cuff the pants and call it done!). They have rear welt pockets that feature signature shaped button-down flaps that add that extra, yet subtle, detailing that you will quickly grow to love. I guess the top thing that we love about these pants is just how wearable they are. You can dress them up, tucked in with a button up shirt or you can throw on a pair of sneakers and a t-shirt and feel just as good.

About the look:

I think we've officially decided that lightweight chambray and linen are the best summer combination! Down here in South Louisiana temperatures near 100 feranheight during the hottest months, luckily we've found the perfect outfit to rock. The loose fitting pants from Universal works allow plenty of room for breathability and the shirt and sneakers are linen, giving them a comfortable cool feel even when the weather is hot.
