10.2oz Hickory Stripe Pant (FN-DP-802)
These hickory pants are crafted from the durable striped fabric long beloved in workwear. Designed with a slightly higher rise and a relaxed fit through the hips, the silhouette tapers cleanly from the knee down for a refined look. The navy portions of the fabric are rope-dyed with indigo all the way to the yarn core, allowing the pants to develop a rich, authentic fade with years of wear.
This hickory fabric takes inspiration from vintage workwear fabrics of the 1940s. Though lightweight at around 10oz, it’s woven with an increased weft density to give the material a firm, structured hand and exceptional durability. The deep navy stripes are dyed using a traditional kasezome (skein-dyeing) method, allowing the indigo to penetrate to the core of each yarn. Unlike modern rope-dyed denim, this process produces a softer, more gradual fade to pale blue over time, offering a uniquely authentic aging character.
