The cherry blossom, long celebrated in Japan as a symbol of spring, inspires this special denim. The dye is extracted by boiling cherry blossoms, producing a soft pink hue that is used for the weft yarns. For the warp, threads are rope-dyed with a mix of natural and synthetic indigo, creating a deep blue tone with the richness of natural indigo and the fading qualities of traditional denim. Blended with the brand’s own homegrown organic cotton, the fabric offers a beautiful texture along with excellent breathability and moisture absorption. The cut is a regular straight, with a slightly narrower leg than the S0510XXII, landing between that fit and the S710XX19ozII for a balanced silhouette.
