18oz Wide Taper Jeans- Indigo (FN-8004)
These jeans are made from 18oz denim fabric woven at a high density with a thick weft thread. The high density woven fabric is firm and has the weight and stiffness you expect from heavy ounce denim, making it tough to wear. Dyeing the jeans in extra dark colors allows you to enjoy the distinct contrast between light and dark shades that are characteristic of Flathead denim as they age. The rise is deep and the waist is relaxed, but the tapered legs give a clean look, so these jeans have a silhouette that can be worn in a wide range of situations and are easy to match with casual outfits.
The center of the belt loop is finished with a raised shape by wrapping the fabric and sewing it. The stitching that sinks into both sides of this raised part makes it less likely to wear out and reduces belt loop punctures (fraying caused by broken threads).
