Inspired by the classic Levi's design from 1962, Iron Heart's modified take on the “Type III” jacket is cut slightly longer in the body, with the addition of hand-warmer pockets — the construction of which also creates two internal storage pockets.
This version is made from their incredibly robust 19oz left-hand twill, woven under extreme tension to produce a dark indigo denim — resulting in one of the toughest Type III jackets to date. As the denim is unsanforized — and unlike their 19oz "lefty" jeans, Iron Heart does not one-wash this model — it creates a rarity in the Iron Heart lineup: a raw selvedge denim jacket.
Being a raw fabric, this denim is shrink-to-fit and will require time and effort to break in. But the fade potential on offer here is legendary.

- Please note - This denim has not gone through a post-weave skewing process, so you will likely see arm twist with wear
- Unsanforized and unwashed - some shrinkage is to be expected
- Shrinkage will depend on how hot and vigorously the jacket is washed. Expect approximately 1" to 1.5" shrinkage in the sleeve and body length, with all other dimensions shrinking proportionately
