ANM 13.5oz GL-3 Denim Western Shirt- Indigo
The ANM Denim Western is our offering of an essential western wear piece. This hardwearing shirt is designed with every detail in mind, starting with the fabric. This western is cut from a 13.5oz rope-dyed GL-3 selvedge denim from Japan. With the near extinction of fully intact Toyota G-3 looms, many of these original looms have been outfitted with remanufactured parts to keep them alive and working. The result is a near identical product still woven in the same manner on the same shuttle looms named GL-3 denim. This denim is woven with rope-dyed yarns that are dyed in-house by the same mill that looms the fabric in Kojima, Japan.
Continuing with trims, we custom designed extra heavy pearl snaps using genuine shell inserts. These ring style snaps are set using a rivet style post that creates a much more secure seating when compared to a prong style snap, especially on thicker denims. We paired these with matching, beefed up, shell buttons at the collar as well as the sleeve plackets.
The result is a sturdy, hardwearing western shirt with a potential to fade beautifully and age gracefully according to how you decide to wear it.
