The Pilot Jacket in Indigo Sashi-Ori from Dehen 1920 is a military-inspired outer layer that combines traditional fabric with durable, functional construction.

Cut from a 12oz Japanese sashi-ori fabric, the 100% cotton material has a textured, sashiko-like weave that offers both strength and visual depth. The over-dyed indigo finish gives the jacket a rich tone that will bleed and fade over time, developing a unique patina with wear.

The silhouette is shaped with vintage raglan sleeve construction for ease of movement, while 2x2 worsted wool knit trims at the collar, cuffs, and waistband—produced in-house at Dehen’s factory—add structure and resilience. A navy satin lining provides a smooth interior, complemented by practical details like a wind guard with zig-zag stitching, an interior welt pocket, and narrow double welt front pockets.

Finished with a durable two-way #10 aluminum zipper, the jacket is built for long-term use without sacrificing comfort. Cut and sewn in Portland, Oregon, the Pilot Jacket balances heritage military design with Dehen’s commitment to quality materials and craftsmanship.
