Cut from a custom 15oz unsinged indigo denim woven by Kaihara Mills in Japan, the fabric has a substantial feel with a clean, deep indigo tone designed to fade gradually with wear. A rinsed finish softens the denim slightly while maintaining its rigid character and minimizing shrinkage.

The jacket features front pleat detailing that adds shape and movement, along with interior elastic bands at the shoulders that function as gussets for improved mobility and comfort. Throughout the construction, 1/8" double-needle stitching reinforces durability while keeping the finish precise and clean.

Custom metal trims complete the design with a rugged, understated touch. Made in the USA, the RJ-1 combines thoughtful construction with heavyweight denim built to age and develop character over time.
