SC02917 Sugar Cane Studded Belt- Natural
The SC02917 Studded Belt from Sugar Cane draws inspiration from vintage studded belts that rose to popularity alongside Western and cowboy fashion between the 1930s and 1950s. Crafted from substantial 3.5mm vegetable-tanned cowhide saddle leather, it features traditional hand-applied studwork incorporating the Sugar Cane name for an authentic vintage aesthetic.
The leather is designed to develop character with age and wear. The natural leather gradually takes on a rich, amber-toned patina through friction and oxidation, while the black-dyed leather reveals a contrasting brown core as the surface wears. Completing the design is a custom-cast iron buckle, made from a mold based on a vintage original and detailed with intricate Indian-inspired stamped motifs. Built to age beautifully, the belt embraces the scuffs, scratches, and natural wear that give vintage leather goods their distinctive character.
