This flannel work shirt is crafted from Samurai's Elemental flannel, a yarn-dyed fabric woven in Niigata Prefecture—an area renowned for producing exceptionally textured flannels. The material’s signature thickness and soft hand come from the unique characteristics of the yarns, dyeing methods, and weaving techniques used. Heavyweight denim-grade yarns are employed for both warp and weft, with the warp twinned for added strength and slub yarns introduced in the weft to create a rugged, uneven texture. After weaving, the fabric is lightly brushed, giving it the appearance of wool serge despite being entirely cotton.
